We’ve come a long way since Ronald Reagan said, “The best social program is a job.”
Now government has divided us between “essential” and “nonessential” employees.
Every job that provides for your family is essential.
To pay for college, I worked a lot of what some might call “dirty jobs”—including farm hand, road construction and night shift at a potato chip factory—and usually two jobs at a time. Each job taught me valuable lessons that stay with me to this day.
The last two years taught us just how bad of a job Big Government does at running our lives—and how a lack of freedom hurt us everywhere, from the board room to the classroom.
As your State Senator, I will fight to restore your freedom to live your life as you choose, and to increase your opportunity to pursue your American Dream right here in the community we love.
